CORE Career Enablement for Executives
Being an executive in today’s world is harder than ever before. The average tenure for VPs of revenue is only 18 months; economic headwinds are creating stronger competition for opportunities, and expectations from CEOs and Boards are only getting higher.
In this 6-week course, you will learn how to enhance your quality of life by keeping your career interesting and relevant, as well as maximizing optionality by following the four stages of the CORE framework: Clarity, Opportunity, Realization, and Empowerment.
Jacob Warwick, Instructor
Jacob Warwick is a husband and father living in Whitefish, Montana with his wife Mary, and three dogs. He’s an executive coach and professional author. Jacob is the former CEO of Discover Podium and was previously a Forbes 30 Under 30 finalist and revenue executive in Silicon Valley.
Course curriculum
This course is designed for presidents, chief executives, partners, managing directors, or board chairs at companies with $10M+ annual revenue or directors+ at companies with $250M+ annual revenue.
This course is also recommended for VPs, EVPs, AVPs, or SVPS at companies with $25M+ in annual revenue.
Session 1:
Intro to CORE Enablement
By the end of this class, you will be able to:

Session 2:
Clarity
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
- Define clear career intentions to explore and reach your goals
- Thoughtfully guide yourself towards your dream career and life while being adaptable to change
Session 3:
Opportunity
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
- Use exceptional storytelling, content, habits, and process to earn what comes next in your career journey
- Assess each opportunity through your clear intentions
- Build career-defining relationships through networking, nurturing, and giving to others
Session 4:
Realization
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
- Own your outcomes by positioning your value in the market verbally while interviewing and networking
- Battle the barrage of poor-fit indicators and opportunities
- Negotiate your terms, boundaries, and well-being
Session 5:
Empowerment
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
- Create structure and a cadence to support your team(s)
- Teach others to get clear, create opportunities, and realize their dreams
- Build a safe environment that inspires diverse teams to work collaboratively, take risks, and work to their passion

Putting CORE to Work
By the end of this class, you will be able to:
- Utilize the CORE strategies and tactics as well as apply the principles to your leadership and your team
