Alina Vandenberghe
Co-founder & Co-CEO, Chili Piper
Alina started Chili Piper in 2016, driven by a passion to make revenue teams more productive and work better together. By 2022, the company was valued at nearly $1 billion—then the market shifted, slashing their valuation by two-thirds. Undeterred, Alina guided Chili Piper to cash break-even and has her eyes set on an IPO.
Her entrepreneurial spirit began even before high school, when she launched a lipstick business to fund her education. She went on to graduate with a master’s in computer science and soon began building mobile apps for Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, and Pearson. Some of her work was even showcased by Steve Jobs.
Outside of her CEO duties, Alina leverages her platform to empower women, host dinners that teach others how to create meaningful community impact and share best practices in marketing and sales. In CEO circles, she advocates for “teal organizations”—a model for building purpose-driven businesses that positively impact their ecosystems.

Salespeople were missing key decision-makers, the handoff to the implementation team was disjointed, and the systems in place weren’t supporting the company’s preferred consultative approach.
She reimagined the entire process by creating a new roadmap for the customer journey, restructuring the sales team’s compensation plan to better align with results, and implementing new tools and training to ensure everyone was on the same page.
