Sabba: I was introduced to Pavilion (then Revenue Collective) by my former boss.
Sabba: Joined first in July 2019
Rachel: I was very aware of Pavilion through Sabba.
Sabba: It wouldn’t be uncommon for Rachel to be working through an initiative and ask “Hey, what do you think Pavilion would say about XX?”
Rachel: As my role grew to owning the sales function to now owning ops and revops it was a natural progression to join as a founding member of Operations Collective (now a part of Pavilion)
Rachel & Sabba: We met while working at a startup in DC, and we worked together closely at the time (Sabba was in sales and Rachel was the CSM assigned to his vertical). Our roles continue to be complementary even now that we’re at different companies. We’re already coaching our 10-month old how to effectively pitch 😉
Rachel & Sabba: No events (yet!), but we’ve been known to send each other Slack threads from shared channels that may be of interest.
Rachel & Sabba: 24/7 (for better or worse). Since we met as colleagues in a very fast paced startup environment while working the same accounts, you could say we’ve been very much in each other’s business from day one. It’s a blessing and a curse because we can speak each other’s language very easily, but that also means it can be hard to turn off work mode. Working from home through the pandemic led to dinner conversations like “great objection handling on that 1pm, did you try XX approach as a next step?”. That still happens but it’s great having resources through Pavilion to learn and ideate beyond the dinner table.
